This is for a Right Hand Drive car but for a Left Hand Drive it should just be the mirror of what you see below. Pull the surround away from the glovebox. There are a few clips on the top, bottom and side… … but the side closest to the centre doesn’t have normal clips… …it has tabs that hook in behind the centre console. Just pull the cover sideways to release it all. You have now uncovered 3x Torx20 screws. Remove them. There you go, the glovebox. Why would you want to remove the glovebox I hear you ask. Well, I learned today that the LHD 453 was available with an open faced glovebox. Thanks to Michele A for the photo. I can see why you’d want to change it.
