to show you three lights that shows on indication and they are 100% fault [music] of steering. ring angle sensor. Let me show you. I will start the car. So, as you can see, we have light for ESP, for ABS, and the hazard light. Now you would think that this hazard light means that handbrake is on but in fact all three lights means that you don't have any more ESP control module on ABS is also off and this hazard light means that you are in safe mode. [music] So basically you will be able to go you can go I don't know 100 kilometers per hour but you will not have full power that is a problem also you will not have heel holder on your car. So there is few ways how to fix it. One obvious way is to change the steering wheel complete with the uh steering angle sensor. Another one would be to try to recalibrate [music] the steering wheel. Now for this you need to be sure that your wheels are straight. They are not on the side. And what I will try today, I will try to recalibrate. If that is not working, I have a spare ESP cartridge [music] or steering angle sensor that I will put on the steering wheel or I will put another steering wheel and try to remove these three lights. Okay. So, I decided to switch to another steering wheel. Now, in order [music] to get rid of this fault codes, once you place new steering wheel, you need [music] to do recalibration of the sensor. So, for this case, I'm using iicar soft. This is MB version 2.0. uh you can find one on Amazon or direct search for this brand. I will put the [music] link in description which I'm using. Uh basically for this you don't have to uh follow the instructions that are given by IICAR soft. Instead [music] uh you can follow uh my steps. So you [music] should turn on the car. [laughter] Okay, car is working. Everything is connected to OBD. Now let's go to service. You choose SAS. You choose smart. This is latest version. You can download this on uh computer and then import to icaroft. So I will choose that one. In my case this is roadster calibration of steering angle sensor. Okay. I will press okay. We keep continuing. So here you can see the lights are on. So I'm pressing okay. In this case I will not switch off and I will not rotate the steering wheel. So let's adjust to the center. Should be in the center. So I will press okay. Communication. Switch off. Okay. Now we can switch off the car. Press okay.

will and we should lose all three lights. And that's it. Calibration completed. No more lights. Let me check ESP. ESP off. So that is working as well. Hill holder will be operational. ABS. Now we have functional car. Now some of other things that you can do on this specific model I mean 452 it's oil reset you cannot do the bleeding you cannot do the etc. This is throttle uh control uh reset DPF of course nothing and parking nothing and injection nothing. You can check the voltage of the battery. I will just uh show you. So you can even put as a wave [music] and then you can check what is the status of your battery. Other than that you can check uh f this is fast check for the uh any fall codes that you might have. Zero codes found. If you want to go more in details and check each module, you use this. So let me show you. It takes some time. So key is basically in position one. We are like this. And let me show you of course. And you choose smart scan. You will hear the click noise cuz it's [music] checking different modules. And now by this you can check each one and maybe you will have here some you see some stored [music] codes from before. This is historic. This is a current cruise control. So something is [music] with cruise control. I can clear the full codes and later on I can check if they are coming back. Another one. No fall codes. instrument cluster. So this is steering wheel gear shift. Okay. [snorts] Maybe when I change the steering wheel uh it was necessary also to take off the plug that is at bottom. Uh just below where is same unit you have one plug for the steering wheel with the pedals. And if you are not using that uh you need to switch to another one ESP no fault codes. And you can see when I go to ESP it uh turn on all all the lights. And when I choose another one it switch off. You can even uh you can hear the click. [snorts] What else is remaining? Anyhow, I'm planning to open same unit on this one and check for the [music] UC cruise control, but somehow it is connected to this stall. So, most commonly it's some issue with it. We will open and check. uh by the time you need to spray a little bit [snorts] with the contact spray but overall if that doesn't help [music] then check the rest and last one is same unit.
