well hello everyone today I would like to discuss this armrest I got from my smart 4553 from Amazon it took me a while to find what I was looking for but I thought this was the [Music] one [Music] [Music] you may ask why this one versus the other ones well I use a um 12vt Splitter on my uh cigarette lighter to run two different devices in my car and and if I used the regular armrest it would have blocked that ability to do that also I have a thermos cup that fits in the cup holder that I want to continue to use so this one seems ideal since I had space underneath armrest for my adapter as well as space in the cup hold in the back to continue to use my uh thermos jug in my car this omes was made by Fon Central FY duu n Central this is how it comes in the Box nice foam padding there's the arm wrest there's the part I couldn't figure out before what it was it's actually the pad that goes inside of here so that's that see if I put it in it started out to be a very nice day for me to start working on my car but as I Was preparing to start on it I realized there's a few things I need to do before I put the armrest in you'll see in a minute first of all there's tape strips on here one on the bottom there's one around the edges so we have to make sure everything's clean up in here and we attach it first I clean the area real good with uh alcohol make sure I get a good stick no dust to stop it now I'm going to remove these stickers first I'm take this one off down here make sure the sticky remains on there take that off discard that now we're going to take this off make sure that Hees that you won't stay down stays against your plastic base just peel it off now we got to do is position that in place line it up e on down push it all the way down once I push that down in place it's in there the only movement you get is actually from this Frame moving don't know why that's doing that but that's the way it is seem to be in there pretty sturdy so I'm hold that in there get it a chance to dry I can lift this up now and that pops open and all I got to do is remove the adhesive off this and place it in the bottom of there I'm removing the adhesive the backing for it do one hand it's getting done once you get that backing off you got to do is place this with the shape of the holder there going forward make sure it's all straight push it down there that cushions in place here are a couple of photos of the armrest outow is installed you can see that I was able to use my adapter underneath the armrest without it interfering with the wiring that sticks uh above above it so that worked out

pretty good the next thing I need to do was be able to put my thermos cup back in the holder behind there and as you can see it fits just fine so this was one good installation let's go give it a try see how it works overall I think that made for a simple install this adds to Great functionality in your smart 4553 we'll do a video later on the drive thank you for watching
