What is going on, guys? Welcome back to the channel. So, as the title says, I want to show you guys how to replace the wiper blades on this type of uh smart car, the 453 model. Remember, this is a 2016. If you seen my video, then you know this a 453. It's a 2016 model. Okay, let me show you guys the part that I ordered from Amazon for this particular part number that I ordered for this model. And the brand is Exact Fit Wiper Blades. Okay, that is the brand. This is the or I don't know if it's the brand but no the the brand is over here. Auto Hawks. Sorry. So the part number is that one right there. Okay. And this is what's in the box. Now I already put them side to side and they are exactly the same length. See right there. And the other one is also the same. just so you guys can see that they are exactly the same and they're not going to be any bigger or any smaller. Okay, so that's what's in this box. Now, let's take them off. I was looking at some videos on this car. There is nothing available for this model, only for the older model. Now, I was playing with these tabs, you know, try to squeeze them really hard. Nothing. Okay, if you're stronger than me, well, you can try it, but it's really hard. Okay, the easiest way that I found to remove those wipers, let me turn on the light. It's going to be by inserting a screwdriver just like this one. Doesn't have to be a big one. Just a small one like this. right in between the wiper blade or the frame and this little arm right here like that. And it'll come right off. Okay. Now, this one was already loose cuz I was already playing with it, so it was easy to remove. Now, let's check out the other side. I'm sorry, guys. I don't have my GoPro. Kind of hard to show you with one hand, but I'm going to try it. Let's see. Just when you're doing this, be careful not to poke your eyes cuz you know it could happen. Just keep it away from your face. So, that's all you got to do. And then just lift on it. Okay. One more time. Okay. Right there. It's away. It's It's already off the hole. And I'm just pulling it. See? So that is how you remove the wiper blades. And that is the tab that needs to be lifted off the little hole so that this one can come right off. Okay. Now, let's install the new one. And real easy, you know, just this little tabs for the Mboard set. And that's it. Right there. Just until you hear the click. And that's it. Right there. And then now you can proceed. Remove the little cover. And you are done. Let's do the other side. Same thing with the tabs to the inboard side towards the car. Okay. Right there. Same thing. Remove the cover. Don't forget that. And that is how you install the wipers on S Mark 53 2016. This is the car. Might be the same on the older models, guys. I don't know. But for this model, at least you know how. Now, I was playing with this new wipers. If you already have this type of wipers, this is how you remove this one. You're going to do the opposite. See these little tabs right here? All you got to do, push this down and slide uh out outwards and then it'll come right off. Okay. This this particular wiper is the opposite. It's a lot easier to remove than the original ones. Well, I don't think those are original. Those are Bosch. So, I don't think those are originals, but the they're a little bit harder to remove. Okay. Same thing with this one. Let me show you guys from this angle right here. It's going to pull down and then just uh out just like that. All right. It'll come right off. That's two types of wipers that you show you guys how to remote and install. [Music]
