smart42 451 we're going to be taking off this interior panel you start off by getting some kind of a pry tool I just have a nylon piece of junk down here you'll see a little tab what you want to do is you want to stick it in maybe three four five millimeters but not too far because if you go too far you'll clip this as well so you only want to stick it in about three to four millimeters you're gonna start prying up on this plastic up until this area once you get this off a little bit start prying around this area and this will start to pop off once you get most of it off you'll notice that there's a tab here so you cannot start prying here it won't work you have to pry around this way and then it'll keep popping off like this and you just slide it out like that that's how you get this piece out next up is going to be unplugging your power power windows if you have them just pops out like that then you have your Torx Torx bit here you're going to use a T25 to remove this guy right here once that screw is out you'll notice that there's these plastic covers over here some of them end up going behind this like you can clearly see it from over here so there's these plastic covers they clip in just here like that what you want to do is you want to unclip all of these just kind of push them away and just to get this a little more free and then get another light I already pulled this back just a little bit but you'll notice down in there see if I can point it out to you there's this is basically sitting on clips inside they're down there you can see It'll try to point it out on screen and basically you're going to want to pull this away just a little bit and gently pull on it and you'll hear it unclip okay let me see it from here it'll slowly start to unclip in the mechanism and what you'll notice down here is the tabs right there I don't know if you can see that clearly but this plastic mechanism either pops up or out because they're just standard plastic clips so at this point I'm gonna keep prying it away a little bit and unclip it from this as you can see now it's a little better so I'm gonna remove the harness gonna unclip this guy right here you can see the little tab in there so I'm gonna be pressing down on this or you can shovel pick down there lift the tab and unplug that and then this so it's plugged in here into that slot right here I popped it out and let me see if I can show you the mechanism it just floats in there so I'm gonna just pop that out without damaging the spring so I can completely remove the door panel from this so I'll come back to you shortly so now that we've wiggled that free you want to unplug this guy as well that's where your door locks and by the look of it it should be mostly free aside from the primary harness here I want to pull that through and you can see the main harness going along the inside of the door panel so it's on a standard clip there one of these it just grabs onto the plastic so I wanted to shove a flat blade or something to get in there you should be able to pop it out if you're gentle without damaging anything no problem or let's see if I can just give it a gentle tug pull it out of that here I need two hands I'll be right back so the next thing is you're gonna need a T20 Torx these three screws were right here down here and then right there and that allows you to loosen this you can feed this wire back through we can pull it out that way when I take the this door panel off I'm not going to drag the wires with me as you can see the only thing left oh by the way forgot this wire you gotta take this rubber grommet out it's clipped in here clipped onto here that little pin clip is clipped into here you just pull on them gently all of them pop out then you have the primary harness going down there so you want to unclip this

speaker Mount right there it's mounted to the panel there then it frees your entire speaker yourself there's another wire speaker itself you can just unplug at this point speaker's unplugged on just for reference the uh the white with I mean the gray with white stripe goes towards the back of the vehicle and the gray with the black stripe goes towards the front of the vehicle black one here white one here see the orientation of the car if we secures which way it plugs back in but it's also keyed it doesn't really matter anyways just one more wire running down there but at this point I believe since this it's not free should be able to wiggle the door panel off unless it's held in by clips that I thought it was down there it's right there but you can't see it so let me pull this off and I'll let you know how it's done as you can see we did it so the way it works is I was correct these clips they just pop right out there's holes like that it's like most door panels you just pull on it and all of those clips pop out and this is the wire that we unplugged from the outside it plugs in right here and it would just run inside of these mounts and then it would run in these little little spaces for the harness and at this point the inner door panel has now been removed obviously this is contingent that you have the outer one removed but that's how you do the inner one and this allows access to replace this very easily you have the three screws right there on the outside the three torques so if you need to replace your your power window motor it's fully accessible I mean probably could get it from the opposite side and just wiggle it back in here but that's how you can get this at the same time I'm going to reconnect the harnesses lift the window we'll be able to re-grease all these tracks which you can do from the outside but at the same time you have access to all this if there's anything broken or damaged or if you just want to clean it up and relube all your tracks like I want to just do a full inspection of it you can see everything here but that is what it looks like here's a little bonus portion for those of you that are trying to get to the speaker this is what it looks like I believe the part number is right there looks to be Alpha zero one two seven two zero zero does not have any impedance ratings on this or anything like that but here you go you're trying to get your own aftermarket speakers installed installed it looks like the actual the actual body of it is six and a quarter and the whole mounting is looks to be from Center to Center four and three quarters of an inch for the mounting you have it that's what it looks like if you're trying to replace these guys so that when you're done doing what you got to do before you put everything back together you might as well grab some kind of a grease I'm using a brake caliper slide Grease in conjunction with silicone quick drying spray which right on the back tells you straight up you know it's used for cables pull these guide rails the valves locks and a whole bunch of other stuff so this I spray all the cables themselves with to give them a bit of rust proofing and I use the brake caliper grease on all the guide rails where the guides are going to be traveling up and down as you can see everything has been re-greased all these have been re-greased it's a little dirty from accidentally touching some dust and rubbing it but you want to pack these with a little bit of Grease as well the jockey wheels and you want to spray the lithium in there as well as try to get as much grease on everything and before you lower it back down make sure you wipe all the grease off of your glass because if you have like any grease or WWE D40 overspray and it gets into here it's going to stay there and it's just nasty and while you're in here you might as well clean all these out like I have and at this point everything's cleaned and re-greased since he took all this apart you might as well re-grease all the power window mechanism at this point I'm just going to put everything back together
