well welcome back to another Dino Day's Video and as you can see this is a smart 44 Brabus it's actually a Mitsubishi cult in there it's a 4g5 turbo engine and we're going to map it today on the ech software so stock power to start with then we're going to flash the standard ECU with some ech software gives us the ability to data log and start mapping and we'll see what we get it's got a couple of mods which we'll talk about at the end but yeah let's do [Music] it [Music] oh [Music] yeah who I am I'm making a new plan rearranging my life and I won't look back ever again you can't stop what's moving you can't stop what's moving I'm changing smart brother not seen one of these for a little while no it's been a year at least um such fun little cars these These are Bas for those of you who don't know these are basically a MIT ofish she cult underneath uh bit of a just a bit of a posh cult really aren't they uh yeah but obviously I think the the cult is based on this not the other way around uh I'd say this was the rare one yeah yeah I think the MIT Mission cult is actually based or designed around the Mercedes a class safety cell which gives it that funny look shaped a bit like a testicle yeah this this is better in my opinion uh I Colts don't get me wrong but five door for a start and it so you get five door uh traction control is really annoying compared to a cult car there a nice little access panel you can just do with a traction control these now armrest center console everything out trying to get at it yeah so a bit of a pain in the bum but n nonetheless they're mostly plastic these mostly plastic I think they've got a I think they've got a better almost profile so I think they probably handle better I've owned one of these and really enjoyed it m that up to stage one this is stage one I mean this is a stock car yeah totally stock coming today at about 172 break horse pad leaving at 196 these are more power aren't they than the Colts were CS were 147 and these are around the 170 Mark aren't the standard uh but exactly the same running gear exactly the same software everything about it's identically the same uh so we tune us obviously if you tune to CZ and there you go we've got some results yeah made like 215t pan of torque and yeah it's just it's just power across around 195 196 I think 196 197 which is great and when you look at the graph which we will do in a moment you'll see the area under the graph is massive so it'll be a big transformation for this car oh yeah 100% I think they're lighter than the Mitsubishi Colts so I think well I think they are I mean there's a lot of leather in here and this is probably real leather as well because it's Brabus but um they're a nice looking car they're light they I think they handle better than the CZ but generally quite rare yeah I think they are we haven't seen many over the years have we really no we've tuned a few I like to say I was just mention in the in the Brabus Owners Club uh earlier that we we met quite a few before we started the YouTube channel so we only caught sort of the back end of of that sort of era so we we've got a couple of nice braises on the YouTube channel for you to go and find and have a look at but I think they're still pretty cheap these cars I think they probably devalued as much as they're ever going to so if you wanted to pick yourself up a little fun something I'd like to see one of these going around a track I think that would be quite nice be nice to see what it yeah but there we go right should we have a look at that let's have a look at
