today i'm going to show you how i install my left and right front door tweeter speakers in my 2017 smart 42453 electric drive [Music] [Music] [Music] please make sure when you order your tweeters that they include the base when i ordered these from the netherlands the tweeter and the cover it did not have the base that you absolutely need to install these tweeters in your doors so make sure that you have the complete assembly the speakers the covers and the base i finally got the bottom portion the base for the tweeters uh in from the mail i needed it for the uh those are the covers i snap in here and these speakers snap into these bases it's a simple matter of taking one of these speakers tweeters and plop them into the base here and you can tell by the orientation this one of which way to go so we'll just put it in line here and pop that in place see that one was popped into place i think you may have missed what i did before so again it's a simple matter of putting this in place here with the snap part oriented towards the cutout here make sure that this portion here is pointing down so you reach your connection in the car so just put in here end part in first and snap it in place and then you take the covers turn this over match the side cover that you're working with to the side liner up on there like that press down lock them in place on both ends yeah you got one set done do the same thing for the other side and i'll show what i do when i install them they're pretty simple to change the tweeters you just make sure you have a torch tool another screw right here in the back of this panel screw it up make sure you keep up with the screw don't lose it and simply raise up on this panel comes off there's the connector you're concerned with right there all you have to do is press the retention snap press down on that push it out there's your old camera going out and here comes the new panel with the covers all snapped in and here's my base they had come separately not always depending on who you're ordering from all i got to do is take this connector line it up with this connector here it's turned differently snap it in see the snaps and all you have to do is raise it up here put this back make sure it lines up with a little bracket brace up there there's back in it's back in place all you do is put the screw back in there now i'm going to check it make sure it works there i heard sound get worse now i got to do the same thing to the other side now you can see the left and the right tweeters are installed enjoy thanks for watching
