[Music] what is going on everybody on this video guys I will be showing you how to remove the bumper all the Smart car so I was like well let me make a video for uh the YouTube Community because I know there's not a lot of videos on this car and it was like the perfect timing right guys so I'm gonna do that right now and uh show you the process I've never removed this bumper like any other part on the previous videos uh first time doing it so hopefully we don't do it wrong but I will show you the easiest way to remove it or the way I'm going to remove it alright so Let's uh get to it hey guys so first things first you know you got to remove your window here and I I was looking at this because I already opened it I was looking at some of the boats right here it looks like we have to remove those bolts right there those uh torques uh it looks like it's uh two four five boats I'm possibly gonna have to remove this the door or the hatch and there's wires right here I don't know I have a look at the side I I don't know if I have to remove the tail light I don't see any Clips over here on this side but we're about to find out don't be attacked at all right so should be pretty loose uh so after we remove all those five bolts and we're gonna go to the bottom and see what's underneath all right so it looks like it's gonna have this attached and the same thing on the other side I don't know about this yet so let's not take this off because uh looks like it's part of the whole bumper the this balance right here so I'm gonna take this off and find out looks like this is a T20 Torx [Music] it looks like that's it from this side and then you get the other side now I have to look at the side and see what's holding it all right guys so if you can see there's a bolt right there that's got to come off and there's another one up top okay first time I see those for this one I have to use an extension but it looks like it's going to be the same size [Music] okay this one's real small so be careful not to lose this one it is the same size foreign [Music] was messing with there's no bolting down all right we're good about to look into that all right guys so um that should be it I'm gonna go ahead and pull this there you go now let's go to the other side [Music] all right that's it I'm gonna close this one and see if I have more room to remove the bumper oh what else is holding it all right guys so it looks like we're gonna have to take this off there's boats they're gonna come off but there's a bracket on the inside going up I don't know if you guys can see it [Music] um but that's the one that's got to come off I'm gonna take that off and uh let's see if we can take the bumper up [Music] all right let's try it now that's it that's the way to remove it foreign pull it from the bottom up that way this will slide out because you don't want to remove this hatch
